Second Annual Veteran's Day 5K - Run for the Yorktown

Our first annual 5K was an exciting morning filled with a Our first annual 5K was an exciting morning filled with a O0-Rah from an Admiral, firing of a anti tank gun to start the race, a run down Patriot's Point Road and around Waterfront Park and a finish across the pier of the USS Yorktown.
This year's event will once again honor our Nation’s Veterans at the historic USS Yorktown Naval & Maritime Museum with the same race course and Post-race Party and Awards Ceremony on the Flight deck of the Yorktown.
In 2011 we were honored to have our active duty military and Veterans participate in the run and we gave them a race thank you gift, an embroidered fleece beanie. We will again be giving away a gift to all Military and Veterans who register for our race.
